I have this great friend and one of the great things about her is that she knows that sometimes talking on the phone isn't enough, that sometimes the presence of another human being is, well, the greatest gift that you can give. On Thursday night I had everything I needed if not everything that I wanted: a glass of wine, a journal, and a good friend helping me to sort through the jumble of things in my head.
